The food down features much more seafood. This was a welcome delight to us travelers as up in the Northern area we were a bit afraid to eat the seafood on the menu. "Don't get fish in cowboy country"...
Shrimp with a pumpkin and squash sauce. It was a rainy night, and this hit the spot.

Vegetables in a coconut sauce.
"Drunken" Chicken. This dish is usually served as "drunken" prawns or fish, whereby the seafood is cooked alive in liquor, and thus made drunk while cooked. The chicken version had the same sauce, but was cooked in what drinkers might say was a much less fun way to go out. PETA may think differently.
